  • To convene the meetings as per Section 48(3)(a) of Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016, for appointment of paper setters, examiners, moderators, referees.
  • To send the invitation letters to the paper-setters, examiners, moderators referees.
  • To prepare the schedule of examination of each half of the academic year.
  • To make the arrangement for preparation of financial estimates of the examination branch.
  • To make substitute appointment of paper-setters, examiners and moderators if any.
  • Prepare time-table for setting of question papers, make the arrangement for setting of question papers.
  • Prepare Programs (Detail Time-Table) of various examinations.
  • Appointments of Senior Supervisors, Vigilance Squads, etc.
  • To make seating arrangement of the students (external)
  • To fix venue of the Central Assessment Program and to appoint the Directors of the Central Assessment Program.
  • To prepare list of examiners, moderators for the purpose of Central Assessment Program.
  • Conduct of special examinations.
  • Preparation of booklet for Remuneration related to exam work.
  • Allocation of examination centers.

  • The fixation of confidential printers for printing of question papers
  • Receiving manuscript of Question Papers from Paper-setters
  • Coding of manuscripts of Question Papers
  • Printing of Question Papers and making arrangement for sending it to the various examination centres.
  • Solve the queries raised in the Question Papers during Examination period. Prepare sets of Question Papers for various reasons.
  • To get the expenditure of Confidential Printing of Question Papers audited from the approved Chartered Accountant.
  • To make the arrangement of payment to the Confidential Printers.
Scrutiny & Tabulation Unit(Result Section,Current Marksheet,Passing Certificate,Name Correction,Name List Summery,Admit Card,Hall-ticket)

Functions
  • Part (A)
    • Collection of examination forms from the colleges/institutes/university departments, Scrutiny and Dispatch to Computer section for processing.
    • Distribution of name lists, summary ,admit cards (Hall ticket)
    • Prepare a time-table for practical examinations and send to the Colleges/Institutions/University Departments.
    • Manage Answer book collection and dispatch between exam centers and CAP centers
  • Part (B)
    • Deal with the queries, if any, regarding the admit cards, seat nos. etc.
    • To keep liaison between the Director, CAP and the University.
    • To make funds available at the disposal of the CAP Directors.
    • To make available the question papers, model answers, scheme of marking etc to the CAP.
    • To visit CAP Centres from time to time.
  • Part ( C )
    • To receive discrepancies reports from the computer section, Solve discrepancies and sent it to the computer section.
    • Results verification, Publishing and distribution to concerned Colleges/Institutions/University Departments.
    • To make the corrections if any in the examination result on the basis of revaluation, eligibility and unfair means etc.

  • Application reception for various certificates from students processing of application and issuing certificates
  • Conduct Convocation Activity
  • Certificate verification & international Document Verification
  • The Students will receive their transcripts by Indian Speed Post in India only
  • When you submit your application to the department after a one week please check your Transcript online account to know is there any discrepancy in your Transcript application or documents, you will get message on your Transcript online account. Please keep with You Transcript online account's Username & Password.
  • Please sign on Transcript online's printed form and send to the Department with required documents.
  • Submit your application at the Student Facilitation Center (SFC) only, which is located at University main gate.
Photocopy and Revaluation Section

  • To receive applications from students for verification and revaluation of answer books.
  • Process received applications, ret rive answerback from godown/CAP centers
  • To send the answer-books for revaluation or make the arrangement for the Central Assessment Programme for the revaluation
  • To collect the marklists after revaluation.
  • To communicate the revaluation results to the concerned colleges/Institutes.
Godown Section

  • Design blank answer-books and supplements.
  • To arrange for the printing of the examination stationery.
  • To make the arrangement to supply the examination stationery to the concerned Colleges/ Institutions/University Departments.
  • To maintain accounts of blank answer-books etc.
  • To arrange the used answer-books in the godown centrewise and examination & subject wise.
  • Call quotations for pulping the used answer books. and other stationary of the examination.
  • To receive application forms for verification and revaluation.
  • To send the concerned answer-books to verification unit for verification and revaluation purpose.
